Safety Manager
Location: 100% on-site
Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000
- Seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and manage site Safety programs
- The Safety Manager will serve as a subject matter expert and may lead others, depending on site needs
Ideal Background
- Formal education in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a science-based discipline
- Qualified to function as a Safety Manager with strong technical and regulatory expertise

- Lead by example as a Safety Manager, demonstrating behaviors aligned with company values
- Mentor employees and, when applicable, provide direct supervision
- Support staffing plans, labor utilization, performance management, and corrective actions
- Display a strong commitment to safety excellence and employee well-being as a Safety Manager
Key Responsibilities of the Safety Manager
- Implement and manage Safety programs to meet regulatory and site-specific needs (e.g., OSHA 300, LOTO, TRR) as the Safety Manager
- Evaluate existing and new Safety programs, recommending improvements
- Lead incident investigations, identify system causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Monitor and trend injury, illness, and incident data, ensuring accurate reporting in Safety systems
- Oversee site Safety plans, procedures, and training as the Safety Manager
- Communicate findings and compliance gaps to leadership and support timely resolution
- Partner with Enterprise Safety teams and foster engagement with the Joint Safety Committee
Preferred Qualifications for the Safety Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related science field
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a Safety Manager or equivalent role
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local Safety regulations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Additional Requirements
- OSHA certifications as required

- Strong incident investigation and root/system cause analysis capabilities
