Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role demands a highly skilled clinical expert with strong oncology pharmacy expertise to lead both inpatient and outpatient infusion services.

Job Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive medication management including ordering lab tests, therapy selection, and managing adverse drug events.
- Verify chemotherapy orders and protocols to ensure accuracy, proper dosing, and patient safety.
- Provide education and support to patients and caregivers on treatment plans and managing chemotherapy side effects, enhancing medication adherence.
- Collaborate closely with providers and nursing staff during clinical rounds to inform treatment decisions.
- Participate in clinical trials, oversee investigational drug use, and contribute to developing oncology protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- PharmD or BS in Pharmacy.
- Eligibility to obtain a California pharmacist license.
- Completion of PGY2 residency or fellowship in oncology, or PGY1 plus a minimum of 3 years as a clinical oncology specialist, or 5 years as a clinical oncology specialist.
- Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) is preferred.
- Proven clinical expertise in oncology pharmacy preferred over staffing experience.
